Choreodramaturgical Atlas: image constellations as a method of creation in dance

Resumo: The present methodological proposal of choreodramaturgical creation was based on a critical and negative use of the image, having as triggers the poetics and the procedures used by the creator of the Butô dance, Tatsumi Hijikata, and its potential intersections with the universe of the philosophy of the image, mainly with the contributions of thinkers such as Didi-Huberman, Aby Warburg and Georges Bataille. This research began in a post-doctoral period and has gradually gained different material layers as its creative procedures have been updated in different pedagogical and artistic contexts. Therefore, some principles of its conceptual bases are presented here and practical creation experiences are reported in which the Coreodramaturgical Atlas (CDA) has been applied and made more complex in recent years, both in undergraduate and graduate disciplines, and in the process of creating a university artistic research group.

Esta investigación se inició en un período posdoctoral y ha ido ganando diferentes capas materiales a medida que sus procedimientos creativos se han ido actualizando en diferentes contextos pedagógicos y artísticos. Por ello, aquí se presentan algunos principios de sus bases conceptuales y se relatan experiencias prácticas de creación en las que se aplicó y complejizó el Atlas Coreodramatúrgico (ACD) en los últimos años, tanto en las disciplinas de grado y posgrado, como en el proceso de creación de un grupo universitario de investigación artística.A presente proposta metodológica de criação coreodramatúrgica fundamentou-se em um uso crítico e negativo da imagem, tendo como disparadores a poética e os procedimentos utilizados pelo criador da dança Butô, Tatsumi Hijikata, e suas potenciais intersecções com o universo da filosofia da imagem, principalmente com as contribuições de pensadores como Didi-Huberman, Aby Warburg e Georges Bataille. Esta pesquisa teve início em um período de pós-doutoramento e gradualmente vem ganhando diferentes camadas materiais na medida em que seus procedimentos criativos vêm sendo atualizados em diversos contextos pedagógicos e artísticos.
