Mathematics teaching at the interface with new technologies from the: perspective of teachers

Resumo: The objective is to discuss the importance of teaching mathematics from the use of technologies. Methodologically, the questionnaire was used to collect data together with teachers of this discipline, which made it possible to know how Mathematics classes have been developed in the current times. It appears that mathematics is a discipline that can be optimized based on technological innovations, such as computers, tablets, the internet and, more specifically, specific programs and software in this area. However, it was asserted that there is a panorama of difficulties for this to be effective, since not all schools have technological equipment available, and the teaching class does not always know or show interest in using the technology. It is concluded that it is necessary for schools to be equipped with technological devices and for teachers to have continuous training to support them in this process of innovation in the classroom.

Metodologicamente, fez-se uso do questionário para a coleta de dados juntos aos docentes dessa disciplina, que possibilitou conhecer como vem sendo desenvolvidas as aulas de Matemática nos tempos atuais. Verifica-se que a Matemática é uma disciplina que pode ser otimizada a partir das inovações tecnológicas, como computadores, tablets, internet e, mais especificamente, de programas e softwares específicos dessa área. No entanto, asseverou-se que há um panorama de dificuldades para que isso seja efetivado, pois nem todas as escolas possuem equipamentos tecnológicos disponíveis, e nem sempre a classe docente sabe ou demonstra interesse de utilizar a tecnologia.
