The theory-practice relationship of a research in the initial formation of a pedagogue

Resumo: The article deals with the research in the initial formation of a pedagogue, because it is an element that enables the problematization of daily school situations evidencing investigative positions. The theory-practice relationship is discussed as objective, favored by the research in the disciplines of the Pedagogy Course at the Federal University of Maranhão. The theoretical-methodological contribution is anchored in Therrien (2002, 2010, 2014), Zeichner (1993), Sacristan (1999) among others, and based on the qualitative approach, through a case study (YIN, 2010) open questionnaires were utilized with students from the eighth period. The results indicated that the curriculum of the mentioned course favors the theory-practice relationship through disciplines such as Educational Research and Supervised Internships that involve investigative activities in the schools, offering experiences and questionings in the regular school routine, developing a reflective profile about the teaching practice, and demonstrating a research as a formative principle and not just as a disciplinary activity.

Como objetivo discute-se a relação teoria-prática favorecida pela pesquisa nas disciplinas do Curso de Pedagogia na Universidade Federal do Maranhão. O aporte teórico-metodológico ancora-se em Therrien (2002, 2010, 2014), Zeichner (1993), Sacristán (1999) dentre outros, e com base na abordagem qualitativa, através do estudo de caso (YIN, 2010) utiliza-se de questionários abertos com alunas do oitavo semestre.
