The role of experience in teaching training

Resumo: The main objective of this is to reflect on teaching from formative dialogues in the Graduate Program in Education at the State University of Ceará (PPGE-UECE) and from experience. This is a bibliographic research and qualitative in nature (MINAYO, 2008). To develop this reflection, we start from theoretical references that deal with teaching practice in higher education and didactics, namely: Pimenta and Anastasiou (2002) and Moura (2015), and on experience, namely: Larrosa (2002), Josso (2004), Dewey (2010), Pimentel (2015) and Freire (2018). Emphasis was given to two of the three pillars of higher education according to Pimenta and Anastasiou (2002), research and teaching, reaching the conclusion that the teacher must be regularly attentive to their practice in a critical and emancipatory way, with the aim of making the experience the motto of transformations in their teaching.

Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e de natureza qualitativa (MINAYO, 2008). Para desenvolver tal reflexão, partimos de referenciais teóricos que versam sobre prática docente no ensino superior e didática, a saber: Pimenta e Anastasiou (2002) e Moura (2015), e sobre experiência, a saber: Larrosa (2002), Josso (2004), Dewey (2010), Pimentel (2015) e Freire (2018).
