This article aims to reflect on public history and new spaces for learning and communication with historical knowledge and on the use of digital technologies as facilitating instruments, discussing their relevance in the educational environment, thinking about the challenges and strategies for overcoming problems and integration of these tools into teaching as a means of making history classes more dynamic and interactive. Assuming that in the globalized world - in which we are inserted -, with people increasingly connected in which technology facilitates access to knowledge and information, good mediation and understanding of its uses and possibilities becomes essential. At the end, some considerations will be presented about the experience using Google Form as a driving tool in the teaching of History and its possible contributions in the learning process of elementary school students.
