Paths of teacher education in Brazil: historical, legal and pedagogical aspects

Resumo: | The main objective of the research is to make a historical outline about the education and training of teachers in Brazil from the Colonial Brazil to the LDB of 1996, summarizing the main reforms and laws. In the light of authors who deal with the subject in question, such as SAVIANI (2007, 2008), ARANHA (2012), ROMANELLI (1986), among others. It is a bibliographic type of qualitative approach. It was possible to consider and reflect that both education and teacher training were never the protagonists of the concerns of government officials, even though they knew their importance for the development of a nation like ours. Some laws instituted in the mid-twentieth century favored a small part of the population (elite), while the majority remained on the margins of society. |

À luz de autores que se debruçam sobre a temática em questão, como SAVIANI (2007, 2008), ARANHA (2012), ROMANELLI (1986), entre outros. É do tipo bibliográfica de abordagem qualitativa. Foi possível considerar e refletir que tanto a educação, quanto a formação de professores nunca foi protagonista das preocupações de governantes, mesmo sabendo de sua importância para o desenvolvimento de uma nação como a nossa.
