The pedagogical pratice of early childhood teacher at the day care center

Resumo: This research discusses the pedagogical practice and teacher education of early childhood teacher. The overall objective is to investigate the values and dispositions learned by teachers in non-formal training processes experienced in personal and professional trajectories which are manifested in the pedagogical practice of teachers who are teaching at the day care center. This investigation presents qualitative research. Research data were collected by semi-structured interviews. The studies were based on Pierre Bourdieu's concepts of habitus and field, Sacristán's analysis about the teaching practices and studies of Bujes (2002), Barbosa (2006) e Kuhlmann Jr. (1998) about early childhood education. It was found that the pedagogical practice becomes strategies based on common sense learned by teachers in educational field and in the teaching profession.

Tem por objetivo geral investigar valores e disposições incorporados em processos formativos não formais vivenciados nas trajetórias pessoal e profissional que se manifestam em facetas da prática pedagógica de professoras em exercício docente na creche. Trata-se de pesquisa com abordagem qualitativa, realizada por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Foram mobilizados como referencial teórico os conceitos de habitus e campo, elaborados por Pierre Bourdieu (2011); a concepção de prática educativa formulada por Sacristán (1999); bem como as considerações de Bujes (2002), Barbosa (2006) e Kuhlmann Jr. (1998) referentes à educação infantil.
