Resumo: This article aimed to understand how the subject of university teaching has been disseminated in dissertations and theses in two UFBA repositories. It was carried out in 2019, based on a qualitative, exploratory, state-of-the-matter type of research. For this, the Institutional Repository of the Federal University of Bahia was visited, with specific interest in the Graduate Program in Education and in the Graduate Program in Teaching, Philosophy and History of Sciences. The results showed few studies on the subject in the first program and no study in the second. In this way, university teaching reveals itself as a fruitful field of research and an emerging theme.

Foi realizada no ano de 2019, a partir de uma pesquisa qualitativa, exploratória, tipo estado da questão. Para isso, foram visitadas o Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal da Bahia, com interesse específico no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ensino, Filosofia e História das Ciências. Os resultados mostraram poucos estudos sobre o tema no primeiro programa e nenhum estudo no segundo.
