History of Education in Graduate Program in Education of UEPG (1994-2015)

Resumo: | The object of this study is the place of the History of Education as a research field in the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), between 1994 and 2015. When evaluating this field, we sought, besides reconstitution of ideas, to examine its trajectory and institutional presence, in different spaces of the university. The implementation of the Graduate Program in Education in 1993/94 represented an important milestone that enables to illustrate the history of research in History of Education as it occurred in the institution. Regarding its trajectory, the place of the History of Education in UEPG – in the scope of research – moved from the condition of research line, already existing from 1994 to 2000, to that of isolated project, from 2000 to 2003 and, also reaching another step, from 2003 until now, as part of a composition, becoming a research line associated with the Educational Policy research field. The research in History of Education in UEPG, although present since the beginning of the Master’s program, still has a discrete presence, due to the existing difficulties for its expansion, mainly those related to the low number of professors in this field linked to the institution. |

Este artículo utiliza como objeto el lugar de la Historia de la Educación como campo de investigación en la Universidad Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG), entre los años de 1994 y 2015. En la evaluación de este campo, buscamos, para más allá de una reconstitución de ideas, examinar su trayectoria y presencia institucionales, dirigidas a diferentes ámbitos de la universidad. Se destaca, entre estos elementos, la implantación del Programa de Postgrado en Educación, en 1993/1994, como un importante hito que posibilita retratar la historia de la investigación en Historia de la Educación, conforme ocurrió en la institución. En su trayectoria, el lugar de la Historia de la Educación en la UEPG – en el ámbito de la investigación – pasó de la condición de línea, existente entre los años 1994 y 2000, para la de proyecto aislado, de 2000 a 2003, y, aun como un tercer despliegue, de 2003 hasta el presente momento, pasó a hacer una composición, formando una línea asociada al campo de estudio de las Políticas Educacionales. Las investigaciones en Historia de la Educación en la UEPG, aunque estén presentes desde el nacimiento de la maestría, se revelan como una presencia aún tímida, en razón de dificultades existentes para su expansión, especialmente, las relacionadas al número reducido de profesores con vinculación al campo en la institución.Este artigo toma como objeto o lugar da História da Educação como campo de pesquisa na Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG), entre os anos de 1994 e 2015. Na avaliação desse campo, buscamos, para além de uma reconstituição de ideias, examinar sua trajetória e presença institucionais, objetivadas em diferentes âmbitos da universidade. Destaca-se, dentre esses elementos, a implantação do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação, em 1993/1994, como um importante marco que possibilita retratar a história da pesquisa em História da Educação, conforme ocorreu na instituição. Em sua trajetória, o lugar da História da Educação na UEPG – no âmbito da pesquisa – passou da condição de linha, existente entre os anos de 1994 e 2000, para a de projeto isolado, de 2000 a 2003, e, ainda como um terceiro desdobramento, de 2003 até o presente momento, passou a fazer uma composição, formando uma linha associada ao campo de estudo das Políticas Educacionais. As pesquisas em História da Educação na UEPG, embora estejam presentes desde o nascimento do mestrado, revelam-se como uma presença ainda tímida, em razão de dificuldades existentes para sua expansão, especialmente, as ligadas ao número reduzido de professores com vinculação ao campo na instituição.
