The researcher and scientific divulgation in the context of cyberculture and artificial intelligence

Resumo: The production of scientific knowledge leads to an understanding of how a body of knowledge legitimated as Science is elaborated. In the productive plot, the role of the researcher in the research and dissemination of the knowledge produced is highlighted. In this perspective, the researcher uses research as an instrument for the development of Science and dissemination in response to the social function of knowledge. Producing and disseminating are essential stages of the research process. This study aims to understand how researchers of graduate programs at a public university in Bahia understand the role of scientific divulgation and present the context of Cyberculture and Artificial Intelligence as enabling the act of scientific divulgation. It constitutes an excerpt from empirical research that focused on the researcher and scientific dissemination. The data were collected through interviews with three professors/researchers from graduate programs and are analyzed comprehensively. As a result, it appears that researchers recognize the cyber and Artificial Intelligence context as fruitful to socialize the knowledge produced, but do not feel available and responsible for such a task. It is concluded that the understandings of researchers about Science draw the ways used to produce knowledge and support the behaviors related to scientific divulgation. Giving visibility to Cyberculture and the context of Artificial Intelligence, as a space-time for the socialization of collective knowledge and action, contributes to the approximation between researcher/society and science/culture.

En la trama productiva, se destaca el papel del investigador en la investigación y divulgación del conocimiento producido. En esta perspectiva, el investigador utiliza la investigación como un instrumento para el desarrollo de la ciencia y la divulgación en respuesta a la función social del conocimiento. Al producir y difundir puntos de vista como etapas esenciales del proceso de investigación, este estudio tiene como objetivo comprender cómo los investigadores de programas de posgrado en una universidad pública en Bahía comprenden el papel de la divulgación científica y presentar el contexto de la Cibercultura y la Inteligencia Artificial como un acto de difusión de la ciencia. Constituye un extracto de una investigación empírica que se centró en el investigador y la divulgación científica. Los datos se recopilaron a través de entrevistas con tres profesores/investigadores de programas de posgrado y se analizan de manera integral. Como resultado, parece que los investigadores reconocen el contexto de la inteligencia artificial y cibernética como fructífero para socializar el conocimiento producido, pero no se sienten disponibles y responsables de tal tarea. Se concluye que la comprensión de los investigadores sobre la ciencia dibuja las formas utilizadas para producir conocimiento y apoyar los comportamientos relacionados con la divulgación científica. Dar visibilidad a la Cibercultura y al contexto de la Inteligencia Artificial, como espacio-tiempo para la socialización del conocimiento y la acción colectiva, contribuye a la aproximación entre investigador/sociedad y ciencia/cultura.A produção do conhecimento científico remete à compreensão do modo como se elabora um corpo de saberes legitimado como Ciência. Na trama produtiva destaca-se o papel do pesquisador em atos de pesquisa e divulgação do conhecimento produzido. Nessa perspectiva, o pesquisador utiliza-se da pesquisa como instrumento de elaboração da ciência e da divulgação como resposta à função social do conhecimento. Sendo produzir e divulgar vistas como etapas essenciais do processo de investigação, este estudo objetiva perceber como pesquisadores de programas de pós-graduação de uma universidade pública da Bahia compreendem o papel da divulgação científica e apresentar o contexto de Cibercultura e Inteligência Artificial como possibilitadores do ato de divulgar Ciência. Se constitui um recorte de uma pesquisa empírica que tematizou o pesquisador e a divulgação científica. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas com três professores/pesquisadores de programas de pós-graduação e são analisados de modo compreensivo. Como resultado constata-se que pesquisadores reconhecem o contexto ciber e de Inteligência Artificial como fecundo para socializar o conhecimento produzido, mas não se sentem disponíveis e responsabilizados para tal tarefa. Conclui-se que, as compreensões de pesquisadores acerca da Ciência desenham os modos utilizados para produzir conhecimento e sustentam os comportamentos relacionados à divulgação científica.
