Resumo: ABSTRACT The article describes communication as a social process, whose focus analyzes the action in defense of Brazilian culture, developed by the writer, playwright, novelist, poet and teacher Ariano Suassuna and his show classes. The method used was qualitative and descriptive. It is inferred that show classes are accumulating vehicles and cultural accelerators and represent the new currents of folkcommunication.
