National Common Curricular Base: implications for the Early Childhood curriculum in the State of Paraná

Resumo: The Common National Curricular Base for Early Childhood Education (BNCCEI) and the Paraná Curricular Reference of Early Childhood Education (RCPEI), together with the National Curricular Guidelines for Early Childhood Education - DCNEI's, constitute the documents that regulate the development of the curricula for this educational stage. The present article analyzes the context, the elaboration, and the theoretical and methodological basis of these documents, to identify their implications for the Early Childhood Education curricula of Paraná's municipalities. To do so, it adopts a qualitative approach and uses the methodological procedures of bibliographic research, document analysis, and literature review. This study is driven by the assumptions of the normative curriculum (GOODSON, 2013) and DCNEIs. It was concluded that the BNCCEI and the RCPEI reiterate important concepts presented by the DCNEIs in their theoretical and methodological texts. However, they present divergences concerning learning and development objectives, which sometimes refer to a prescriptive and schooling logic.

El presente artículo analiza el contexto, la elaboración y lafundamentación teórico-metodológica de estos documentos, con elfin de identificar sus implicaciones para los currículos de Educación Infantil de los municipios del Estado de Paraná. Para eso, se adopta el enfoque cualitativo y utilizalos procedimientos metodológicos de encuesta bibliográfica, análisis documental y revisión de literatura. Este estudio se basa en las investigaciones del plan de estudios normativo (GOODSON, 2013) y los DCNEI. Se concluyó que BNCCEI y RCPEI reiteranen sus textos de razonamiento teórico-metodológico importantes conceptos presentados por las DCNEI. Sin embargo, presentan divergencias conrespecto a los objetivos de aprendizaje y desarrollo, que a veces remiten a una lógica prescriptiva y escolarizante.A Base Nacional Comum Curricular da Educação Infantil (BNCCEI) e o Referencial Curricular do Paraná da Educação Infantil (RCPEI), junto às Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais da Educação Infantil - DCNEI’s, constituem os documentos que normatizam a elaboração dos currículos para essa etapa educacional. O presente artigo analisa o contexto, a elaboração e a fundamentação teórico-metodológica desses documentos, a fim de identificar as suas implicações para os currículos da Educação Infantil das municipalidades paranaenses. Para isso, adota a abordagem qualitativa e utiliza os procedimentos metodológicos de levantamento bibliográfico, análise documental e revisão de literatura. Esse estudo é orientado a partir dos pressupostos do currículo normativo (GOODSON, 2013) e das DCNEI’s. Concluiu-se que a BNCCEI e o RCPEI reiteram em seus textos de fundamentação teórico-metodológica importantes conceitos apresentados pelas DCNEI’s.
