The Common National Curriculum Base for Elementary Education: implications for teaching work

Resumo: | This article aims to analyze the curricular policy resulting from the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and the implications for the teaching work in Brazilian public basic education. It begins with analyzing documents from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the World Bank, bibliographic references, and legislation under the historical-dialectical perspective of how governments, political parties, and education entrepreneurs act to restore neoliberalism to the curriculum policy and the teaching work. Some implications of this curricular policy on the teaching work are increased workloads, precariousness, and devaluation in the context of control, surveillance, and accountability. If the BNCC can determine and standardize the curriculum, the pedagogical practices, and the teaching work, it can also transform and elevate education and human development to the pillars of the epistemology of praxis. |

Se parte de documentos de la Organización para la Cooperación Económica y el Desarrollo (OCED), el Banco Mundial, referencias bibliográficas y legislación para examinar en el proceso histórico-dialéctico cómo actúan gobiernos, partidos políticos y empresarios de la educación para recomponer la política curricular y el trabajo docente en niveles neoliberales. Algunas implicaciones de esta política curricular sobre el trabajo docente son la intensificación, la precariedad y la desvalorización, en un contexto de control, vigilancia y rendición de cuentas. Si la BNCC logra limitar y estandarizar el currículo, las prácticas pedagógicas y el trabajo docente, en el movimiento real, puede transformar y elevar la escuela y la formación humana a los pilares de la epistemología de la praxis.Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar a política curricular decorrente da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) e as implicações para o trabalho docente na educação básica pública brasileira. Parte-se dos documentos da Organização para Cooperação e Desenvolvimento Econômico (OCDE), do Banco Mundial, de referências bibliográficas e da legislação para examinar, no processo histórico-dialético, como governos, partidos políticos e empresários do ensino atuam para recompor a política curricular e o trabalho docente nos patamares neoliberais. Algumas implicações dessa política curricular no trabalho docente são a intensificação, a precarização e a desvalorização, todas em um contexto de controle, vigilância e responsabilização.
