Resumo: | This article is based on a critical analysis to reflect on the meaning attributed to Pedagogy in the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Undergraduate Course in Pedagogy (2006) and in Resolution 02/2019 of the CNE that establishes the National Common Base for Initial Teacher Training of Basic Education (DCN-BNC). The methodology employed used as a corpus of analysis the official documents that guide Pedagogy courses in the country, Resolution CNE/CP 01/2006 and Resolution CNE/CP nº 2/2019. Historically, Pedagogy as an epistemological field has not found a place in the official documents that guide the training of pedagogues in the country, thus, the logic of Pedagogy is becoming natural in Brazil only as a degree course, separated from its epistemological dimension. |

La metodología empleada utilizó como corpus de análisis los documentos oficiales que orientan los cursos de Pedagogía en el país, Resolución CNE/CP 01/2006 y Resolución CNE/CP nº 2/2019. Históricamente, la Pedagogía como campo epistemológico no ha encontrado lugar en los documentos oficiales que orientan la formación de pedagogos en el país, así, la lógica de la Pedagogía se está naturalizando en Brasil sólo como carrera, separada de su dimensión epistemológica.Este artigo se consubstancia de uma análise crítica para refletir sobre a significação atribuída a Pedagogia nas Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para o Curso de Graduação em Pedagogia (2006) e na Resolução 02/2019 do CNE que estabelece a Base Nacional Comum para a Formação Inicial de Professores da Educação Básica (DCN-BNC). A metodologia empregada utilizou como corpus de análise os documentos oficiais que orientam os cursos de Pedagogia no país, a Resolução CNE/CP 01/2006 e a Resolução CNE/CP nº 2/2019.
