PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN THE NEW HIGH SCHOOL: IMPLICATIONS AND TRENDS PROMOTED BY REFORM AND BNCC

Resumo: This study had as object to examine the condition of the physical education curriculum component in high school, after the changes promoted by law no. 13.415/2017, by the DCNEM 2018 and by the BNCC, aiming to discuss the implications and trends that emerge from this process, as well as exposing the fundamental elements of the physical education proposal present at the BNCC. Supported by historical dialectical materialism, documentary research was carried out. It was found that the reform contributed to the deepening of the curricular hierarchy. Physical education has lost its mandatory status and its condition as a curricular component is not guaranteed. The teaching object pointed out by BNCC does not favor the pedagogical treatment of the central problem of this field of

The teaching object pointed out by BNCC does not favor the pedagogical treatment of the central problem of this field of  Este texto objetiva examinar a condição do componente curricular educação física no ensino médio, após as alterações promovidas pela lei n. 13.415/2017, pelas DCNEM de 2018 e pela BNCC, visando discutir as implicações e tendências que emergem desse processo, bem como expor os elementos fundamentais da proposta de educação física presente na BNCC. Apoiado no materialismo histórico dialético, realizou-se pesquisa documental. Constatou-se que a reforma contribuiu para o aprofundamento da hierarquização curricular. A educação física perdeu o status de obrigatória e sua condição de componente curricular não está assegurada. O objeto de ensino apontado pela BNCC não favorece o trato pedagógico do problema central desse campo de conhecimento. Por fim, as habilidades almejadas preterem ou não exigem os conhecimentos científicos ligados à educação física, além de perspectivar para os jovens um limitado desenvolvimento. Este texto tiene como objetivo examinar la condición del componente curricular de educación física en la escuela secundaria, después de los cambios promovidos por la ley n. 13.415/2017, por DCNEM 2018 y por BNCC, con el objetivo de discutir las implicaciones y tendencias que surgen de este proceso, así como exponer los elementos fundamentales de la propuesta de educación física presente en BNCC. Apoyado por el materialismo histórico dialéctico, se llevó a cabo una investigación documental. Se encontró que la reforma contribuyó a la profundización de la jerarquía curricular. La educación física ha perdido su estatus obligatorio y su condición como componente curricular no está garantizada. El objeto de enseñanza presentado por BNCC no favorece el tratamiento pedagógico del problema central de este campo del conocimiento. Finalmente, las habilidades deseadas pueden o no requerir conocimiento científico relacionado con la educación física, además de proporcionar un desarrollo limitado para los jóvenes.
