Pedagogia hospitalar: o que dizem os periódicos de maior circulação da área da educação?

The pedagogy in hospitals operates in the area where the educator is part of the hospital for the children in treatment in hospitals to continue the school learning, with the intention of diminishing delay in learning due to hospitalization. Because it is an area with few academic productions in Brazil, especially compared to other classical areas of education, the present work sought to analyze Brazilian articles that address hospital pedagogy and have been published by reliable sources. In this way,the latest edition was researched in 2013 until 2016 of QUALIS – CAPES (coordination of improvement of higher education staff) as a reference. The bibliographic survey type adopted only reviewed magazines as the best, according to the criteria of CAPES rank. Thus, articles were sought in periodicals evaluated as A1 in the area of education to know and understand how these articles address pedagogy in Brazil. It was possible to prove that there is shortage of academic work focused on the subject, although it is a theme that grows. From the total of 31 selected periodicals, only 11 articles were found in the total collection available on the internet through these magazines. The written work allows to understand the concepts of hospital pedagogy based on the articles analyzed. Thus, it is expected to contribute to educators that can arouse more interest in the area.
