THE ROLE OF THE SCHOOL CURRICULUM IN HUMAN DEVELOPMENT: CONTRIBUTIONS OF HISTORICAL AND CRITICAL PEDAGOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL

Resumo: | This work points to the articulations between the fundamentals of cultural-historical psychology and the historical-critical pedagogy, in regard the issue of content that should compose the curriculum. The correct organization of the teaching process by the teacher, through scientific knowledge, as well as the appropriation of classic content, by students, promotes mental development to raise the development of higher psychological functions at their highest possibilities. Thus, we affirm the cultural-historical psychology and the historical-critical pedagogy align themselves both with regard to the Marxist perspective of socialist revolution, as in respect to concept of formation of individuality and the role of schooling in human emancipation. |

La correcta organización del proceso de enseñanza por parte del profesor, a través del conocimiento científico, así como la apropiación del contenido clásico, por los estudiantes, promueve el desarrollo psíquico de elevar el desarrollo de las funciones mentales superiores a sus posibilidades más elevadas. Por lo tanto, afirmamos la psicología histórico-cultural y la pedagogía histórico-crítica alineamos tanto con respecto a la perspectiva marxista de la revolución socialista, como en lo que se refiere al concepto de formación de la individualidad y el papel de la educación en la emancipación humana.Este trabalho aponta as articulações existentes entre os fundamentos da psicologia histórico- cultural e da pedagogia histórico-crítica, no que tange à questão dos conteúdos que devem compor o currículo escolar. A correta organização do processo de ensino pelo professor, por meio de conhecimentos científicos, bem como a apropriação do conteúdo clássico, por parte do aluno, favorece o desenvolvimento psíquico ao suscitarem o desenvolvimento das funções psíquicas superiores em suas máximas possibilidades. Desse modo, afirmamos que a psicologia histórico-cultural e a pedagogia histórico-crítica alinham-se tanto no que se refere à perspectiva marxista da revolução socialista, como no que se refere à concepção de formação da individualidade e do papel da educação escolar na emancipação humana.
