This work focuses on teaching and learning through methodologies aimed at better student learning, where the presentation of some methods was necessary to deepen the knowledge and creating concepts with clear and objective statements of each methodology. Post scientific study, presented in the second part of a study on the resources applied methodologies making reference to the National Curriculum Parameters (PCNs) in mathematics study highlighting the real importance that the teacher should have, to use the methodologies relating to content and practices the PCNs. The second part deals with - from the application of the case study, aimed to target public elementary school students II, specifically a study applied in the 8th grade class, where applied two different classes with different methodologies and therefore the application of a questionnaire evaluating teaching practice. Thus we present the results obtained for construction and formulation of future concepts on the subject. With this experience in the classroom as well as enrich my teaching practice, can analyze the right way forward in the face of difficulty and the right methodology to be applied at the right time, whether traditional or modern, effective is throughout the learning process.
