THE MEANINGS OF THE PROFESSOR OF HIGHER EDUCATION ON THE STUDIES OF POST-GRADUATE STUDENTS IN EDUCATIONAL AREA

Resumo: The text is part of a doctoral study and it addresses issues related to the study structure in Post-Graduation in Education mediated by the significations produced by the higher education teacher about his livings with the constitutive actions of the present study. The objective is to understand the structure of such a study and the particularities of the academic relations that the higher teacher develops with it. As theoretical and methodological basis, the contributions of the Historical-Cultural Psychology, most importantly, to clarify concepts such as study, activity and living. The data was produced through three higher education teachers’ collaboration in memorial interviews and the analytical process happened with the narrative’s organization in thematic units and apprehension of analysis categories for an analytical overview mediation. In the test of significations produced by the higher education teacher about the actions taken in the study developed in Post-Graduation in Education it was found that the main actions which were constituted in livings were represented by the disciplines, readings, events participations, study groups, relation with other pairs and scientific production. The particularities of such actions were represented by the teachers’ significations produced on the study, and its relations with immediate purposes of each action. Thus, these particularities had in common the purpose of the researcher’s training and, also, to the teachers, the educational training.

El objetivo es comprender la estructura de ese estudio y las particularidades de las relaciones académicas que el profesor de la enseñanza superior desarrolla con el mismo. Se ha utilizado como fundamento teórico metodológico los aportes de la Psicología histórico-cultural, especialmente para aclarar conceptos como el estudio, la actividad y la vivencia. Los datos fueron producidos por medio de la colaboración de tres profesores de enseñanza superior en entrevistas memoriales, y el proceso analítico se dió por medio de la organización de narrativas en unidades temáticas y la aprehensión de categorías de análisis para la mediación de la síntesis analítica. En el examen de las significaciones producidas por el profesor de enseñanza superior sobre las acciones realizadas en el estudio desarrollado en el Posgrado en Educación fue posible constatar que las principales acciones que se constituyeron en vivencias fueron representadas por las asignaturas, lecturas, participación en eventos, grupo de estudio, relación con otros pares y producción científica. Las particularidades de estas acciones fueron representadas por las significaciones de los profesores sobre los sentidos producidos sobre el estudio y sus relaciones con los fines inmediatos de cada acción. Así, estas particularidades tenían en común la finalidad de formación del investigador y, también, para los profesores, la capacitación docente.O texto é parte de uma tese doutoral e aborda questões referentes a estrutura do estudo na Pós-graduação em Educação mediado pelas significações produzidas pelo professor do ensino superior sobre suas vivências com as ações constitutivas do referido estudo. O objetivo é compreender a estrutura desse estudo e as particularidades das relações acadêmicas que o professor do ensino superior desenvolve com o mesmo. Utilizou-se como fundamento teórico-metodológico os aportes da Psicologia Histórico-Cultural, sobretudo, para esclarecer conceitos como o de estudo, atividade e vivência.
