O GEOGRAPHY TEACHING AND PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICES: : challenges and possibilities of a revolutionary praxis

Resumo: The article aims to discuss the category Organization of Didactic Work in the light of the Science of History. From this theoretical perspective, reflecting on the challenges and possibilities of learning in Geography teaching using as references the thinkers Gilberto Alves (2005; 2012) and Dermeval Saviani (2008; 2009). In this context, Geography teachers are challenged to resignify their pedagogical practices for the improvement of the teaching-learning process for a revolutionary praxis. The methodology used in this article was bibliographic research, which conducted the main conceptual themes from the Marxian perspective. In summary, it is concluded that the results presented no longer meet the social demands of our time.

Desde esta perspectiva teórica, reflexionar sobre los desafíos y posibilidades del aprendizaje en la enseñanza de la Geografía tomando como referentes a los pensadores Gilberto Alves (2005; 2012) y Dermeval Saviani (2008; 2009). En este contexto, los profesores de Geografía tienen el desafío de resignificar sus prácticas pedagógicas para la mejora del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje para una praxis revolucionaria. La metodología utilizada en este artículo fue la investigación bibliográfica, que orientó los principales temas conceptuales desde la perspectiva marxista. En resumen, se concluye que los resultados presentados ya no responden a las demandas sociales de nuestro tiempo.O presente artigo objetiva discutir a categoria Organização do Trabalho Didático à luz da Ciência da História. A partir dessa perspectiva teórica, refletir sobre os desafios e as possibilidades da aprendizagem no ensino de Geografia usando como referências os pensadores Gilberto Alves (2005; 2012) e Dermeval Saviani (2008; 2009). Nesse contexto, os professores de Geografia são desafiados a ressignificar suas práticas pedagógicas para o aprimoramento do processo ensino-aprendizagem para uma práxis revolucionária. A metodologia utilizada neste artigo foi a pesquisa bibliográfica, a qual norteou os principais temas conceituais partindo da perspectiva marxiana.
