Resumo: The present study deals with the translation of the first book (Lacking A) of the work De aetatibus mundi et hominis, credited to Fabius Planciades Fulgentius, North African author of the Late Antiquity. In this first section of the work, translated here, Fulgentius narrates the myth of original sin, concerning Adam and Eve. In addition, the Mythographer writes in lipogram, avoiding words that are registered in ‘a’, a technique that is maintained in the translation proposal.
