Active methodologies applied to critical work of oral skills in Portuguese as an additional language

Resumo: This qualitative research of descriptive and exploratory character results from the analysis of a didactic unit of Portuguese as an Additional Language (PLA) for intermediate level, focused on working with oral skills in this language. The present study aims at: verifying if it is possible to apply the Active Methodologies in oral production and oral comprehensive activities in additional language; and also, analyzing how this proposal mobilizes strategies for students critical education in the preparation process for the oral part of Celpe-Bras exam. The concepts that support the reflections developed about the analyzed material are the Active Methodologies (FILATRO and CAVALCANTI, 2018; MORÁN, 2017; BERBEL, 2011) and aspects of teaching and learning orality (MARCUSCHI, 2003) in PLA. The results of the analysis show that the unit mobilizes several strategies for the development of oral comprehensive and oral production in order to enhance the student’s role, while opening space for dialogue about cultural diversity and also exploring the criticality through Active Methodologies.

Esta pesquisa qualitativa de caráter descritivo e exploratório analisa uma unidade didática de Português Língua Adicional (PLA) de nível intermediário, focada no trabalho com as habilidades orais nesse idioma. Os objetivos deste estudo são: verificar a aplicação ou não das Metodologias Ativas nas tarefas de produção e compreensão oral em língua adicional e verificar se há mobilização de estratégias para a formação crítica do aluno na preparação para a oralidade examinada pelo Celpe-Bras.
