LABOR REFORM AND PRECARIZATION OF LABOR ACCORDING TO ACTORS OF LABOR LAW

Following a worldwide movement, the Brazilian labor reform, approved in 2017, aimed at making labor relations more flexible. In this study, we investigated the understanding of different labor law professionals about Brazilian labor reform and its impacts, both for workers in general and for themselves as law workers. To achieve that, in a group with six professionals of Labor Law, group focus techniques and content analysis were applied as an analytical resource. The results show that the labor reform strengthens the process of precarious work, by affecting the labor sphere in three perspectives: individual, by weakening labor relations and production of insecurities to the worker; social, since jobs markedly precarious are now accepted in the regulatory sphere; and institutional, as the reform limits the performance and autonomy of Labor Courts and unions in facing the precarious work.
