Resumo: This article aims to analyze how neoliberalism, coated by globalization, acts directly in the public policies definition, with emphasis on curriculum policies for basic education. It is the result of a bibliographic and documental research, in which questions about the curriculum reform process in the elaboration phase of the Common National Curricular Base (BNCC) were investigated. It was found that in the process of BNCC outlining, the educators and researchers contribution was reduced and the private organizations and international multilateral institutions contribution was overvalued. Among the neoliberal propositions found in the BNCC, there is the entrepreneurial perceptions development, in which individuals become solely and exclusively responsible for their success or failure. Thus, it can be seen that capitalism sneakily infers its neoliberal discourse in educational guidelines, ensuring an education that prepares individuals, mostly to satisfy the market willing.
