SCHOOL AND CULTURE: THE ROLE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN THE VALORIZATION OF LUDIC CULTURAL KNOWLEDGE THROUGH TRADITIONAL GAMES

Resumo: | This text discusses about the school as a space destined for the cultural manifestations, discussing the anthropological concept of culture, folklore and popular culture. Furthermore, it analyzes the contributions of the Physical Education discipline in the thematization, problematization and rescue of the traditional games for the valorization of the playful culture. In this context, we defend that the work of the Physical Education teacher at school be from a cultural agent, being his fundamental role is to rescue the experience of traditional playful games. Thus, we evaluate that the traditional game contributes to the motor, social and psychological development of the student, that is, an integral development of the learner and also it contributes to the recognition and the contemplation of popular cultural heritage. |

Además, analiza las contribuciones de la disciplina de Educación Física en la tematización, problematización y rescate de los juegos tradicionales para la valorización de la cultura lúdica. En este contexto, sostenemos que el trabajo del maestro de Educación Física en la escuela es el de un agente cultural, y su función fundamental es rescatar la experiencia de los juegos lúdicos tradicionales. Por lo tanto, evaluamos que el juego tradicional contribuye al desarrollo motor, social y psicológico del alumno, es decir, un desarrollo integral del alumno y también contribuye al reconocimiento y la contemplación del patrimonio cultural popular.Esse texto discute a respeito da escola como espaço destinado às manifestações culturais, discorrendo sobre o conceito antropológico de cultura, folclore e cultura popular. Ademais, analisa as contribuições da disciplina de Educação Física na tematização, na problematização e no resgate dos jogos tradicionais para a valorização da cultura lúdica. Nesse contexto, defendemos que o trabalho do professor de Educação Física na escola seja de um agente cultural, sendo sua atuação fundamental para resgatar a vivência das brincadeiras lúdicas tradicionais.
