Resumo: This paper aims to provide some thoughts about the results - partial - Extension project titled "Mapping, analysis and universalize focused on curriculum integration of history and Afro-Brazilian Culture in Rio Grande affirmative action", funded by the Program University Extension (PROEXT) of the Ministry of Education, which aims at mapping on the institutionalization of Law 10.639/2003 at the municipal level, in order to diagnose the advances and limitations of the implementation of these policies in the local public schools in order to provide support to the relevant bodies with regard to the adoption of measures necessary to reduce inequalities, silences and prejudice to the remaining communities african-Brazilian culture.
