Resumo: | This article addresses some issues related to the education of young rural residents, problematizing the territory in which they are inserted and the challenges posed by the context in which they live. The study was carried out in the southeastern region of the state of Goiás, a territory marked by the advance of agribusiness, the exploitation of miners, but also by the resistance of peasants who survive on what they produce in family farming. The research, of a qualitative nature, was developed with high school and higher education students and points out as a central issue the need for a meeting between school and territory, between school and families and between school and rural youth. The young people interviewed pointed that, under the conditions, how difficult it is to access school, to be in school, to feel good at school and to build a schooling project. |

El estudio fue realizado en la región sudeste del estado de Goiás, un territorio marcado por el avance del agronegocio y la minería, pero también por la resistencia de los campesinos que sobreviven a base de aquello que producen en la agricultura familiar. La investigación, de cuño cualitativo, fue desarrollada con estudiantes de estudios secundarios y superiores, y apunta como argumento central la necesidad de un encuentro entre la escuela y el territorio; la escuela y las familias; la escuela y la juventud rural. Los jóvenes entrevistados evidenciaron que, en las condiciones puestas, es muy difícil acceder a la escuela, estar en la escuela, sentirse bien en la escuela y construir un proyecto de escolarización.Este artigo aborda algumas questões relativas à educação de jovens moradores da zona rural, problematizando o território em que estão inseridos e os desafios postos pelo contexto em que vivem. O estudo foi realizado na região sudeste do estado de Goiás, território marcado pelo avanço do agronegócio, pela exploração de mineradoras, mas também pela resistência de camponeses que sobrevivem do que produzem na agricultura familiar. A pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo, foi desenvolvida com estudantes do ensino médio e superior e aponta como questão central a necessidade de um encontro entre a escola e o território; a escola e as famílias; a escola e as juventudes rurais.
