Heroínas Negras : possibilidades para um ensino de sociologia antirracista

Resumo: In 2023, Law 10.639, which makes the teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture mandatory, completes twenty years of existence. In this sense, in the wake of this emblematic date, this article presents a possibility of didactic mediation for teaching Sociology in Basic Education. Such mediation was conceived from the work of Arraes, Heroínas Negras Brasileiras (2020), mixing elements of cordelist literature with sociological knowledge, while paving the way for an Anti-racist Sociology. This time, the work articulates knowledge, as it brings the string as a third way in the classroom, stimulating playfulness and the student's sociological imagination.

Nesse sentido, neste artigo apresenta-se uma possibilidade de mediação didática para o ensino de Sociologia no Ensino Médio. Tal mediação foi pensada a partir da obra de Arraes, "Heroínas Negras Brasileiras" (Arraes, 2020), mesclando elementos da literatura cordelista com saberes sociológicos, visando pavimentar o caminho para uma Sociologia antirracista. É importante ressaltar que este projeto ainda não foi aplicado em sala de aula, mas foi concebido levando em consideração a nova realidade do docente em Sociologia.
