This article will address issues concerning the practice of reading and writing in the early years, based on theories of authors such as Emilia Ferreiro and the master Paulo Freire, Piaget, Ana Taberosky, socializing on practices inherent in cognitive development, where their approaches subsidize tracejam important points and paths that allow the learning according to the descriptors of the basic curriculum. These are intended to guide the teaching-learning practice to signal the development of skills and competencies consistent with reading and writing shafts compatible with the specific curriculum of each year / series. Thus, the teacher to meet the use of the topics of the studies laid down in the headquarters of curricular reference, with efficient and effective practices, contribute to the construction of a new educational profile, which translate into a solid basic education and above all quality. Eradicate illiteracy so that education in public education effectively contributes to the development of the country.
