The present work aims to contribute to a better understanding of the results of the relationships established through participation in a network of companies, having as a field of study a Pharmacy Network active in the State of Sergipe –SERGIFAR. To this end, this study aims to understand the factors that motivate the relationships established between organizations participating in a Pharmacy Network in the State of Sergipe, and, in a complementary way, how these factors interfere in maintaining the network, based on research Silva (2012). In view of the above, this research becomes relevant, given that more and more, large companies operating in the pharmaceutical retail trade have been establishing themselves in the State of Sergipe, directly affecting many of the small medium-sized pharmacies that operate in the Sergipe market which, in order to face this competition and the increased complexity of the market, felt the need to unite, starting to act in an associated way. In view of this, it was noticed that small pharmacies have been promoting changes in the market, structuring themselves and looking for alternatives to face these large national networks, among these changes, associations can be highlighted. For this reason, the importance of this study stands out, both at an academic and social level, as it may be used in future research, and also as a database for pharmaceutical retail entrepreneurs who wish to undertake in the State of Sergipe, either isolated or networked.
