The implementation of a new theory, of Management of Maintenance guided to the reliability of components of aviation can be considered as one of the most important tools of maintenance of the National Air Force of Brasil (FAB), whose paper is to establish a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high level of reliability of flight equipment. A vision contemporary of the management of the maintenance considers that this function must all to contemplate the cycle of life of the equipment, initiating itself since the stage of conception of the project, passing for the stage of assembly, until its execution.For the exploratory and descriptive research this was used as a research methodology, literature review , data surveys in the field and data analysis Of this form, from the application of the management of the knowledge in the activities of securing of flights, it is intended to adopt a strategy directed for the improvement of the quality of the maintenance services, proposes a technique for improving the quality of maintenance services, expected reliability and operational performance of flight systems gains , resulting in combative readiness requirements of the Armed Forces.
