Resumo: | This paper aims to present some reflections on the textual constitution of the current textbooks. The discussed textbooks are for the 6th grade. As for the thematic content, each chapter presents key issues that need to be introduced and maintained, hence the relevance of processes such as referential continuity. Through the analysis of referential continuity strategies used in textbooks for elementary school, the aim of this paper is to verify how referential continuity occurs, and how the main / secondary topics are introduced and maintained, retaken, and recategorized in a way that is within the reach of the reader’s understanding. |
