Resumo: | The study aim to investigate the preparation of professional education in physical education for working with the Rural Education. Therefore, we analyzed the curriculum the courses of Physical Education of the city of Curitiba, it was verified the presence/absence of the contents on menus and finally, a survey was conducted with former students. From the eight schools evaluated only one (UFPR) was found to include the topic in the Rural Education in their curriculum (12.5%). The discipline of Physical Education is an important element in teaching and learning by those who live in rural areas for revitalization and enhancement of its identity. |

El objetivo de este estudio fue verificar el preparo en la formación del profesional de Educación Física para trabajar con la Educación en el Campo. Se analizó, por lo tanto, la reja curricular de los cursos de Educación Física de la ciudad de Curitiba, se verificó la presencia/ausencia del contenido en los temarios y por fin, fue realizada una encuesta con alumnos egresos. De las ocho facultades evaluadas, se constató que solamente una incluye el tema de la Educación en el Campo, en su contenido pragmático. La disciplina de Educación Física es un importante elemento en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje del hombre del campo para la revitalización y valorización de su identidad. O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar o preparo na formação do profissional de Educação Física para trabalhar com a Educação do Campo. Para tanto, analisou-se a grade curricular dos cursos de Educação Física da cidade de Curitiba, verificou-se a presença/ausência do conteúdo nas ementas e por fim, foi realizada uma enquete com alunos egressos. Das oito faculdades avaliadas, ficou constatado que apenas uma inclui o tema da Educação no Campo em seu conteúdo programático.
