Teaching gymnastics at school: an account of experience with historical-critical pedagogy

Resumo: The present text is an experience report, resulting from a systematized pedagogical practice of school physical education, the thematic axis Gymnastics, in an agreed school of the State Department of Education (SEDUC) of Goiás. For the construction and development of our proposal we take as reference the historical-critical pedagogy and the critical-overcoming perspective of Physical Education. We highlight the possibilities and challenges of the content Gymnastics in the pedagogical practice of School Physical Education developed with students of the 9th year of Elementary School II, in which the Gymnastics Festival presented itself as a relevant possibility to work the gymnastics in the classes of Physical Education in the school . We can conclude that gymnastics provided meaningful learning for students and we hope that this experience can help teachers reflect on this issue in school

Para la construcción y desarrollo de nuestra propuesta tomamos como referencial la pedagogía histórico-crítica y la perspectiva crítico-superadora de la Educación Física. Destacamos las posibilidades y desafíos del contenido Gimnasia en la práctica pedagógica de la Educación Física Escolar desarrollada con alumnos del 9º año de la Enseñanza Fundamental II, en la cual el Festival de Gimnasia se presentó como una posibilidad relevante para trabajar la gimnasia en las clases de Educación Física en la escuela . Puede concluir que la gimnasia proporcionó aprendizajes significativos para los alumnos y esperamos que esta experiencia pueda ayudar a los profesores a reflexionar sobre este tema en la escuela.O presente texto é um relato de experiência, resultante de uma prática pedagógica sistematizada da educação física escolar, eixo temático Ginástica, em uma escola conveniada da Secretaria Estadual de Educação (SEDUC) de Goiás. Para a construção e desenvolvimento da nossa proposta tomamos como referencial a pedagogia histórico-crítica e a perspectiva crítico-superadora da Educação Física. Destacamos as possibilidades e desafios do conteúdo Ginástica na prática pedagógica da Educação Física Escolar desenvolvida com alunos do 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental II, na qual o Festival de Ginástica se apresentou como uma possibilidade relevante para se trabalhar a ginástica nas aulas de Educação Física na escola.
