Resumo: | The book Eu ainda sou criança: educação infantil e resistência (2018), edited and published by EdUFSCAR, organized by Maria Walburga dos Santos, Cleonice Maria Tomazzetti and Suely Amaral Mello, presents a brief sample of the discussions held during the VII Congresso Paulista de Educação Infantil (COPEDI) and the III Seminário Internacional de Educação Infantil, which took place in 2015 at the Federal University of São Carlos. The discussions based on these meetings resulted in the production of this book. It deals with relevant themes for the expansion of discussions on the conceptions of children, childhood and early childhood education. This book also addresses the most current aspects of the area, with texts that range from the demands of Brazilian child of preschool education, to the right of children to fully experience childhood, with quality in educational environments and that respect their specificities and differences. |
