ORALITY IN THE PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE CURRICULUM DOCUMENTS FOR HIGH SCHOOL IN THE STATE OF PERNAMBUCO: A DOCUMENTARY ANALYSIS OF THE PERIOD 2008-2018

Resumo: The present article is the result of the research published in the thesis entitled "A oralidade entre o prescrito e o possível: a modalidade oral no currículo e na prática de professores de língua portuguesa do ensino médio da rede estadual de Pernambuco", whose main objective was to investigate how Portuguese language teachers from the state of Pernambuco (re)elaborate and experience the curriculum for teaching orality. Among all the specific objectives listed in the study, there was the one of analyzing the guidelines for the work with orality present in the official Portuguese language curriculum documents at the state level. To achieve this specific objective, an analysis of the official curriculum documents of the state education network of Pernambuco, published between the years 2008 and 2018, was carried out. The document analysis points out that the official curriculum documents of the state school of Pernambuco present conceptions of teaching orality that privilege more formal public uses of the spoken language. However, they fail in the treatment of oral specificities, because they do not suggest a more systematized approach to acoustic and kinesthetic aspects, which may indicate an approach to oral teaching still focused on a conception of oral as a norm.

Dentre todos os objetivos específicos elencados no estudo, figurava o de analisar as orientações para o trabalho com a oralidade presentes nos documentos curriculares oficiais de língua portuguesa no âmbito estadual. Para atingir esse objetivo específico, foi realizada uma análise dos documentos curriculares oficiais da rede estadual de ensino de Pernambuco, publicados entre os anos de 2008 e 2018. A análise documental aponta que os documentos curriculares oficiais da rede estadual de Pernambuco apresentam concepções de ensino de oralidade que privilegiam usos públicos mais formais da língua falada.
