LIKE, COMMENT AND SHARE:: how the followers of Boca Rosa and Niina Secrets interact on social media

Resumo: ABSTRACT: This research aims to identify the reasons why fans of the digital influencers Boca Rosa and Niina Secrets like, comment and share their postings on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram social media and on blogs. This two YouTubers were selected because they won the Digital Influencers Award, in 2017, in Fashion and Beauty categories, respectively – in this award, offered by the magazine Negócios da Comunicação, voting includes technical and popular votes. This theme selection is justified because likes, comments and shares are thermometers of the audience; they also allow the understanding of how followers relate themselves to the content since each type of posting differently instigates specific behaviours. We investigated who the followers of these influencers were, to trace their profiles and their behaviours when using these interaction resources. The methodology is based on in-depth interviews. Altogether, nine followers who have volunteered to participate in the study were interviewed. Results indicate that most of them prefer to like the content rather than comment or share. Behaviour.  RESUMO: A proposta desta pesquisa é identificar os motivos que levam as fãs das influenciadoras digitais Boca Rosa e Niina Secrets a curtirem, comentarem e compartilharem suas postagens nas redes sociais. As duas youtubers foram vencedoras do Prêmio Influenciadores Digitais, de 2017, oferecido pela revista Negócios da Comunicação, cujo votação passava pelo voto técnico e popular, nas categorias Moda e Beleza, respectivamente. A escolha da temática se justifica porque curtidas, comentários e compartilhamentos são termômetros da audiência e permitem entender como os seguidores se relacionam com o conteúdo. Para isso buscou-se procurar quem eram as seguidoras dessas influenciadoras, a fim de traçar seus perfis e comportamentos ao utilizarem desses recursos. A metodologia é baseada em entrevistas de profundidade. No total foram entrevistadas nove seguidoras, que se disponibilizaram a participar do estudo. Os resultados apontam que a maioria prefere curtir o conteúdo a comentar ou compartilhar. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Influenciadoras digitais. Redes sociais.
