Special and inclusive education in early childhood education: perspectives, challenges and differences

Resumo: | This article aims to: understanding the guidelines present in official documents about special/inclusive education in early childhood education; analyzing the challenges and possibilities of the inclusion process of children with disabilities; understanding the differences between these two types of education; to know the difficulties that guide the school inclusion of this public. From bibliographical research findings, it was verified that the official documents present advances in the field of special education in the inclusive perspectives. Inadequate working conditions, insufficient pedagogical resources, and fragility in the initial and continuing in the teachers’ education process among others, prevent the guarantee of quality in education and hinder the process of including the target audience in regular schools. |

Inadequate working conditions, insufficient pedagogical resources, and fragility in the initial and continuing in the teachers’ education process among others, prevent the guarantee of quality in education and hinder the process of including the target audience in regular schools.Este artículo ha tenido como objetivo: comprender las directrices presentes en los documentos oficiales sobre la educación especial/inclusiva en la educación infantil; analizar los retos y las posibilidades del proceso de inclusión de los niños con discapacidad; comprender las diferencias entre estos dos tipos de educación; conocer las dificultades que orientan la inclusión escolar de este público. A partir de una búsqueda bibliográfica se encontró que los documentos oficiales presentan los avances en el campo de la educación especial en perspectiva inclusiva. Las inadecuadas condiciones de trabajo, la insuficiencia de recursos pedagógicos, las deficiencias en la formación inicial y continua del profesorado, entre otras, impiden garantizar una educación de calidad y dificultan el proceso de inclusión del público objetivo en la enseñanza regular.Este artigo teve por objetivos: compreender as orientações presentes em documentos oficiais acerca da educação especial/inclusiva na educação infantil; analisar os desafios e possibilidades do processo de inclusão da criança com deficiência; entender as diferenças entre esses dois tipos de educação; conhecer as dificuldades que norteiam a inclusão escolar deste público. A partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica verificou-se que os documentos oficiais apresentam avanços no campo da educação especial na perspectiva inclusiva.
