Resumo: | Garlic (Allium sativum L.) is one of the most cultivated and consumed vegetable species in the world. As it has a high added value, it is necessary to adapt the culture management practices so that they are assertive, without generating unnecessary expenses. Among these practices, there is fertilization. Therefore, the objective of the present work was to evaluate the nutrient absorption dynamics in the development and production of the noble garlic cultivar Chonan, in different phases of its cultivation cycle. The experiment was carried out at Agrícola Wehrmann, in Cristalina, Goiás, from June to September 2020. The cultivar used was Chonan, a noble garlic. The design was in randomized blocks with four blocks and seven treatments, which consisted of the evaluation periods (22, 44, 61, 81, 101, 115 and 131 days after planting - DAP). Plants were collected from the useful plots in the seven seasons and taken to the laboratory to determine dry mass and nutrient content. The peak of dry mass of garlic happened at 130 DAP, when 28.70 g plant-1 was obtained. Between 61 and 81 DAP, the highest daily biomass gain in plants was observed, with an accumulation of 0.63 g plant-1 per day. From the beginning to the end of the cycle, there was an increase in dry mass at each collection. The dry mass of plants and the total amounts of nutrients absorbed by the aerial part and bulb of the Chonan garlic cultivar and the daily biomass gain vary at different times of collection after planting. The decreasing order of macro and micronutrient extraction in the aerial part was: N> K> S> Ca> Mg> P - Fe> Cu> Mn> Zn> B. The decreasing order of macro and micronutrient extraction in the bulb was: N > K> Ca> P> S> Mg - Fe> Zn> Cu> B> Mn. The accumulation of nutrients in the whole plant was respectively: N> K> S> Ca> P> Mg - Fe> Cu> Zn> Mn> B. |
