A look at newborn care in the context of maternal and child health: an experience report

Resumo: The study was developed together with the Educar Extension Project, from Feevale University, linked to the "Mãe-bebê” Program, which aims to promote actions of Permanent Education in Health. contributions in the maternal-infant process in the scope of child health. The study was characterized by a descriptive, quanti-qualitative research. Community Health Agents and other health professionals were invited to participate in the online and synchronous training entitled “A look at newborn care during home visits”. At the end, the participants were invited to answer a questionnaire. The study reinforced the role of the university and the continuous dialogue and concluded that the approaches, even if remote, can enhance the communication of the teams, allowing capillarity and agility of the information, a better interaction of experiences.

El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar las percepciones de los participantes sobre la Educación Permanente online y sus aportes al proceso de trabajo en el campo de la salud materno-infantil. El estudio fue una investigación descriptiva. Se invitó a los Agentes Comunitarios de Salud y otros profesionales de la salud a participar de la capacitación online y sincrónica titulada “Una mirada al cuidado del recién nacido durante las visitas domiciliarias”. Al final, 96 participantes respondieron un cuestionario. El estudio reforzó el papel de la universidad y el diálogo continuo enseñanza-servicio y concluyó que los acercamientos pueden potenciar la comunicación del equipo, permitiendo mayor capilaridad y agilidad de la información y mejor interacción de las experiencias.O estudo foi desenvolvido junto ao Projeto de Extensão Educar, da Universidade Feevale, vinculado ao Programa Mãe-bebê, que tem como objetivo promover ações de Educação Permanente em Saúde. O objetivo da pesquisa foi analisar as percepções dos participantes acerca da Educação Permanente online e suas contribuições no processo de trabalho no âmbito da saúde materno-infantil. O estudo caracterizou-se por uma pesquisa descritiva, quanti-qualitativa. Agentes Comunitários de Saúde e demais profissionais da saúde foram convidados a participar da capacitação online e síncrona intitulada “Um olhar no cuidado ao recém-nascido na visita domiciliar”. Ao final, 96 participantes foram convidados a responder um questionário.
