Resumo: This article, of theoretical character, aims to submit bibliographic elements to the pedagogical practice in the context of school physical education, with theoretical historical-cultural psychology and historical-critical pedagogy. Thus, emphasis: understanding the contribution of school education and, thus, of the physical education in the process of physical development of the individual; and the presentation of didactic-methodological elements for the pedagogical practice of the physical education to contribute to the integral formation of the individual, through the assimilation of knowledge historically systematized this knowledge area. It is concluded that the aforementioned theoretical mediation it becomes possible to contribute and clarify elements for pedagogical practice in the field of school physical education having as main scope the formation omnilateral of the individual.

Por lo tanto, énfasis: entender la contribución de la educación escolar y, por tanto, de la educación física en el proceso de desarrollo físico del individuo; y sistematizado de la presentación de elementos didácticos-metodológicos para la práctica pedagógica de la educación física para contribuir a la formación integral del individuo, a través de la asimilación de los conocimientos históricamente esta área de conocimiento. Se concluye que la mediación teórica mencionada es posible contribuir a aclarar los elementos para la práctica pedagógica en el campo de la educación física tiene como propósito principal la formación omnilateral individual.O presente artigo, de caráter teórico-bibliográfico, objetiva apresentar elementos para a prática pedagógica no âmbito da Educação Física escolar, tendo como referencial teórico a psicologia histórico-cultural e a pedagogia histórico-crítica. Destarte, deu-se ênfase: em compreender a contribuição da educação escolar e, assim, da Educação Física no processo de desenvolvimento psíquico do indivíduo; e na apresentação de elementos didático-metodológicos para a prática pedagógica da Educação Física em proveito de contribuir com a formação integral do indivíduo, por meio da assimilação do conhecimento historicamente sistematizado dessa área do conhecimento.
