Post-school life for the person with intellectual disability: an analysis from their reports

Resumo: | The work is part of the research on the process of inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities. A clipping was made on a research entitled "Talking about self: self-perception studies and life histories of people with intellectual disabilities". Through an integrative review, the texts that included the speech of subjects with intellectual disability on the themes of inclusion in the world of work and future perspectives were analyzed. The conclusions point out the need to elaborate pedagogical proposals that consider and potentiate what these students have to say about their conditions and needs. It is possible to conclude that, despite the guarantee of the access of these students to the school spaces, whether in classes of common teaching, classes or special schools, there is still a need of resignification on teaching and learning processes of this public. |

Se realizó un recorte sobre una investigación titulada "Hablando de sí: estudios sobre autopercepción e historias de vida de personas con discapacidad intelectual". Por medio de una revisión integrativa, se analizaron los textos que incluían el habla de sujetos con discapacidad intelectual sobre los temas de inclusión en el mundo del trabajo y perspectivas futuras. Las conclusiones apuntan a la necesidad de elaborar propuestas pedagógicas que consideren y potencien lo que estos estudiantes tienen que decir sobre sus condiciones y necesidades. Se puede concluir que, a pesar de la garantía del acceso de estos estudiantes a los espacios escolares, sea en clases de la enseñanza común, clases o escuelas especiales, todavía hay una necesidad de resignificación sobre procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de este público.O trabalho se insere nas investigações sobre o processo de inclusão de jovens com deficiência intelectual. Foi realizado um recorte sobre uma pesquisa intitulada “Falando de si: estudos sobre autopercepção e histórias de vida de pessoas com deficiência intelectual”. Por meio de uma revisão integrativa, foram analisados os textos que incluíam a fala de sujeitos com deficiência intelectual sobre os temas de inclusão no mundo do trabalho e perspectivas futuras. As conclusões apontam a necessidade de elaboração de propostas pedagógicas que considerem e potencializem o que estes estudantes têm a dizer sobre suas condições e necessidades.
