Resumo: | Considering a continuum where an extreme would be the experiential formation and the other side the academic formation from profession Physical Education, we have experienced a gap that to point out the lack of dialogue between these extremes. It is including support of legislation to justify certain placements. Thus, the tensions have now set up a defense full of practical experience or an exclusive valorization of scientific knowledge. Reflect on these distances with a view to look at possibilities for approximation seems to be the point of this discussion. The perspective from reflection about these points should be an alternative. This will be focus of my essay. |

This will be focus of my essay.Considerando-se um contínuo onde um extremo seriam as chamadas escolas de ofício e o outro, a formação acadêmico-científica da profissão Educação Física, temos vivenciado uma lacuna que evidencia a ausência de diálogo entre estes extremos revelando, inclusive, suporte da legislação para justificar determinados posicionamentos. Deste modo, as tensões existentes têm configurado ora uma defesa absoluta da experiência prática ora uma valorização exclusiva do conhecimento científico. Refletir sobre estes distanciamentos com vistas a pensar em possibilidades de uma aproximação parece ser o ponto crucial deste embate.
