Socioeconomic and educational situation of IFPA Proeja students during the Covid-19 pandemic

Resumo: This research aimed to identify the socioeconomic and educational situation of the students of the Proeja course in Accommodation at the IFPA - Santarém campus, during the introduction of emergency remote teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is exploratory research with a qualitative-quantitative approach, where face-to-face interviews were used through questionnaires containing 18 open and closed questions, divided into two groups; the first being related to socioeconomic information, with 9 questions; while the second sought information regarding remote classes during the pandemic, containing 9 questions. Eighteen students from Proeja who joined in the years 2018 and 2019 in Accommodation were interviewed. As a result, most students were female, aged between 18 and 25 years old, accessed the internet through mobile data, claimed as difficulty in reconciling with work during remote teaching and, even so, they considered learning to be good. It was concluded that remote teaching proved to be a viable alternative for the evaluated moment, even though the work activities made it difficult to carry out the didactic activities.

Se trata de una investigación exploratoria con enfoque cualitativo-cuantitativo, donde se utilizaron entrevistas cara a cara a través de cuestionarios que contenían 18 preguntas abiertas y cerradas, divididos en dos grupos; el primero relacionado con la información socioeconómica, con 9 preguntas; mientras que el segundo buscó información respecto a las clases a distancia durante la pandemia, conteniendo 9 preguntas. Se entrevistó a 18 estudiantes de Proeja en Alojamiento que se incorporaron en los años 2018 y 2019. Como resultado, la mayoría de los estudiantes eran mujeres, entre 18 y 25 años, accedían a internet a través de datos móviles, alegadas como dificultad para conciliar con el trabajo durante la enseñanza a distancia. y, aun así, consideraban bueno aprender. Se concluyó que la enseñanza a distancia demostró ser una alternativa viable para el momento evaluado, a pesar de que las actividades laborales dificultaron la realización de las actividades didácticas.Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo identificar a situação socioeconômica e educacional dos alunos do curso Proeja em Hospedagem do IFPA – Câmpus Santarém, durante a introdução do ensino remoto emergencial, no decorrer da pandemia de Covid-19. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza exploratória, com abordagem qualitativo-quantitativa, onde foram utilizadas entrevistas presenciais, através de questionários contendo 18 perguntas abertas e fechadas, divididas em dois grupos: sendo o primeiro relativo às informações socioeconômicas, com 9 perguntas, enquanto o segundo buscou informações relativas às aulas remotas durante a pandemia, contendo 9 questionamentos. Foram entrevistados dezoito alunos do Proeja em Hospedagem, que ingressaram nos anos de 2018 e 2019. Como resultados, identificou-se a maioria dos alunos era do sexo feminino, possuíam entre 18 e 25 anos, acessavam a internet através de dados móveis, alegaram como maior dificuldade durante o ensino remoto a conciliação com o trabalho e, ainda assim, consideraram o aprendizado como bom.
