Resumo: | The effectiveness of Food and Nutrition Education (EAN) practices, in the context of Food and Nutritional Security (SAN), presuppose to exceed the limits of specific knowledge of the nutritionist. So, this article presents an experience report and aims to present theoretical and methodological aspects and results of a Scientific Initiation Project with students of Nutrition with a view to the praxis of EAN from the perspective of SAN, through the production of text and storytelling aimed at young children. The methodological procedures involved stages of bibliographic research; textual elaboration of history; evaluation by professionals with training and performance in the fields of education, food and health; recording of the storytelling and dissemination in social network. Among the results obtained, we highlight: the elaboration of the final version of the story, "The adventures of Dito in search of real food", after the evaluation of the experts, which deals with the statements of the Manifesto Food Truth aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); the creation of the profile @literaturize on the social network Instagram for socialization of storytelling; the contributions to the training of nutrition students, who participated in conversation circles, typical of Freirean praxis, on the multidimensionality of food and developed skills and competencies in an important area of professional activity of the nutritionist, the Collective Health. Thus, it is concluded that bringing up the debate on DHAA, through EAN actions, involving writing and storytelling, is an important strategy for strengthening education and culture in human rights. |
