Resumo: Migrations constitute an unsolved world problem. A purely educational vision of the subject would be insufficient, it is necessary to consider other issues such as legal stay, work, housing, health, language, cultural and religious exercise, social participation. The situation of the schooling of immigrant students is reviewed from a legal, pedagogical and documentary perspective. There is the right to education for immigrant students but there are difficulties for their school integration such as low curricular performance, the concentration of these students in certain schools, a certain rejection of immigrants, little preparation of teachers to give an adequate response. The schooling process in our country does not present serious problems and it is offered in decent conditions, but there are aspects to improve. As answers to this problem, it is necessary to deepen intercultural and inclusive education as conceived by international organizations, mainly UNESCO.

Una visión únicamente educativa del tema sería insuficiente, es necesario tener en cuenta otras cuestiones como la estancia legal, el trabajo, la vivienda, la sanidad, el idioma, el ejercicio cultural y religioso, la participación social. Se revisa la situación de la escolarización del alumnado inmigrante desde una visión legal, pedagógica y documental. Existe el derecho a la educación para el alumnado inmigrante, pero se producen dificultades para su integración escolar como son unos rendimientos curriculares bajos, la concentración de este alumnado en ciertos colegios, cierto rechazo a los inmigrantes, escasa preparación del profesorado para dar una respuesta adecuada. La escolarización en nuestro país no presenta graves problemas y se ofrece en condiciones dignas, pero hay aspectos que mejorar. Como respuestas a esta problemática es necesario profundizar en la educación intercultural e inclusiva tal y como lo conciben organismos internacionales, principalmente la UNESCO.A migração é um problema de orden mundial não resolvido. Seria insuficiente uma visão exclusivamente pedagógica do asunto, é preciso levar em consideração outras questões como a permanência legal, o trabalho, a moradia, a saúde, o idioma, o exercício cultural e religioso, a participação social. A situação escolar dos estudantes imigrantes é revista do ponto de vista jurídico, pedagógico e documental. Existe o direito à educação para o estudante imigrante, mas produzem-se dificuldades para a sua integração escolar, como o baixo desempenho curricular, a concentração desses estudantes em determinadas escolas, um certo rechaço aos imigrantes e pouca preparação dos profesores para reponderem adequadamente. A escolaridade em nosso país não apresenta problemas graves e é oferecida em condições dignas, mas há aspectos a serem melhorados.
