Maker education in math curriculum: catapults and the study of functions

Resumo: This paper analyzes the processes of production and socialization of teaching knowledge of a group of Mathematicsteachers in the transformation of a maker sequence didactic. The narrative is conceived in the historical constitution of the collective work of teaching and research with Maker Education and Educational Robotics and involves 15 years of a teaching that is, at the same, singular and collective, and occurs through the different meetings of production in the development of a recurring project, although not equivalent: the construction of prototypes of catapults and their relationship with the mathematical curriculum of Functions. The article promotes teaching practices concerned with creatingconditions for students to perceive curricular concepts present in the products they build. O artigo promove práticas docentes preocupadas em criar condições para que os estudantes percebam conceitos curriculares presentes nos produtos que constroem.
