Pierre Lévy and Paulo Freire: contributions for the development of the critical digital literacy

Resumo: The central aim of this work is to generate reflections about the theoretical contribution of Pierre Lévy and Paulo Freire for the educational environment which seeks the development of the critical digital literacy. We demarcate as theoretical-methodological procedure the qualitative research in education. In the investigative path, it was conducted a bibliographic proofreading on the basis of the propositions of Le Coadic, Lévy, Freire, Buzato, Pinto, among others. The systematized and anchored studies in the delimited bibliography allowed the following conclusions, which are: a) all technological application is also an political application, nevertheless, we need to try to understand the correlation of forces that they carry in their intentionalities; b) overcoming the ingenuous application of the instrumentalization of the TICs; the necessity of interpretation of the domination traits; and c) the technologies need to be mediated in constant dialogue to the necessity of a digital citizenship, where the individual recognizes itself as a subject of rights and duties, having theoretical tools to distinguish and interpretate the reality which disguises itself as a virtuality.

Definimos como procedimiento teórico-metodológico la investigación cualitativa en educación. En el camino investigativo, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica a partir de las proposiciones de Le Coadic, Lévy, Freire, Buzato, Pinto, entre otros. Los estudios sistematizados y anclados en la bibliografía delimitada permitieron llegar a las siguientes conclusiones, que son: a) todo uso tecnológico también es uso político, sin embargo, necesitamos buscar entender la correlación de fuerzas que llevan en sus intenciones ; b) superando el uso ingenuo de la instrumentalización de las TIC; la necesidad de interpretar los rasgos de dominación; y c) las tecnologías necesitan ser mediadas en constante diálogo a la necesidad de ciudadanía digital, donde el individuo se reconozca como un sujeto de derechos y deberes, desponiendo de herramientas teóricas para definir y interpretar la realidad que se trasluce en la virtualidad.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo central produzir reflexões sobre as contribuições teóricas de Pierre Lévy e Paulo Freire para as ambiências formativas que buscam o desenvolvimento do letramento digital crítico. Balizamos como procedimento teórico-metodológico a pesquisa qualitativa em educação. No percurso investigativo, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica com base nas proposições de Le Coadic, Lévy, Freire, Buzato, Pinto, dentre outros.
