Language adequacy as an inclusion instrument in youth and adult education

Resumo: This study aims to contribute to the discussions involving young people and adults’ education, carried out with courses linked to the National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education, in the Youth and Adult Program (PROEJA). This paper is an experience report that describes procedures and referrals that have contributed in a relevant way to the theme of inclusion of adults in the school space, based on linguistic knowledge. In the current scenario of society, the teacher gains visibility again, attributing to this professional not only the responsibility for promoting learning, but also the role of one of the main protagonists of the changes expected by society today. In this sense, the report presents the case study of the Integrated Technical Class in Civil Construction Design offered by IFSul - Campus Charqueadas, where in an inductive method, the data collected through observations, consultations in academic productions and evaluations of didactic procedures were analyzed. Relationships were established between the conclusions obtained and the statements made by educational theorists. Regarding linguistic learning, it was observed that the discrepancy between the language used by the speakers and listeners in the classroom interferes with the understanding of the content, impairing not only learning, but also and the student's sense of belonging in the academic space.

El presente texto es em relato de experiencia que describe procedimientos y pautas que contribuyeron de manera relevante a la temática de la inclusión de adultos em el espacio escolar, a partir del conocimiento lingüístico. Em el escenario actual de la sociedad, el docente vuelve a ganar visibilidad, atribuyéndose al profesional no solo la responsabilidad de la promoción del aprendizaje, sino también el papel de uno de los principales protagonistas de los cambios que espera la sociedad actualmente. Em este sentido, el informe presenta el caso de estudio del Curso Técnico Integrado em Desenho de Construção Civil ofrecido por IFSul - Campus Charqueadas, donde de forma inductiva se analizaron datos recolectados a través de consultas em producciones académicas, evaluaciones y procedimientos didácticos. Se establecieron relaciones entre las conclusiones obtenidas y las afirmaciones de teóricos de educación. Em respecto al aprendizaje lingüístico, se observó que la discrepancia entre el lenguaje utilizado por los hablantes y los oyentes em el aula interfiere em la comprensión del contenido, perjudicando no solo el aprendizaje, sino también el sentimiento de pertenencia del alumno em el espacio académico.Este estudo tem como objetivo contribuir com as discussões que envolvem a educação de jovens e adultos, realizada com os cursos vinculados ao Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica, na Modalidade de Jovens e Adultos (PROEJA). O presente texto é um relato de experiência que descreve procedimentos e encaminhamentos  que contribuíram de forma relevante para o tema da inclusão do adulto no espaço escolar, a partir do conhecimento linguístico. No atual cenário da sociedade, o professor volta a ganhar visibilidade, atribuindo-se ao profissional não somente a responsabilidade pela promoção de aprendizagens, mas também o papel de um dos protagonistas das mudanças esperadas pela sociedade na atualidade. Neste sentido, o relato apresenta o estudo de caso do Curso Técnico Integrado em Desenho de Construção Civil ofertado pelo  IFSul - Campus Charqueadas, onde em um método indutivo, foram analisados dados coletados através de consultas em produções acadêmicas, avaliações e procedimentos didáticos. Relações foram estabelecidas entre as conclusões obtidas e as afirmações feitas por teóricos da área da educação.
