Hospital Pedagogy: Knowing its modalities of attendance

Resumo: | The present study presents a field in which the pedagogue can exercise outside of the school environment: the area of the hospital pedagogy, in which it is within the special education. It has as justification to extend the knowledge and the divulgation of the treated area, thus contributing to the aim of this study was to understand and deepen our studies about the modalities of pedagogical assistance existing in hospital environments. The methodology used was the bibliographic review. We discuss in this study that the function of hospital pedagogy is to provide hospitalized children and adolescents with adequate care, where they feel well attended and welcomed, since the hospital environment is different from their reality. In this context, it is necessary that there are professionals prepared and adequately trained to act. The adequate training of this pedagogue allows him to act in a coherent way within the existing modalities in the hospital scope, in which three of them stand out: bed attendance, hospital class and toy library. We consider it relevant to emphasize that hospital pedagogy is not known to all, and it is necessary to have a greater dissemination of its importance for awareness. |

Se consideró como justificación ampliar el conocimiento y la divulgación del área tratada, contribuyendo así a la formación para la actuación futura. El objetivo general de este estudio es presentar las modalidades de atención pedagógica existentes en ambientes hospitalarios. La metodología utilizada fue a la revisión bibliográfica. Discutimos en este estudio que la función de la pedagogía hospitalaria es la de proporcionar a los niños y adolescentes hospitalizados una atención adecuada, donde ellas se sienten bien atendidas y acogidas, pues el ambiente hospitalario es diferente de su realidad. En este contexto, es necesario que haya profesionales preparados y capacitados adecuadamente para actuar. La formación adecuada de este pedagogo permite que actúe de manera coherente dentro de las modalidades existentes en el ámbito hospitalario, en el que se destacan tres de ellas: atención en el lecho, clase hospitalaria y juguetes. Consideramos relevante resaltar que la pedagogía hospitalaria no es de conocimiento de todos, siendo necesario que haya una mayor divulgación de su importancia para la concientización.O presente estudo discute um campo em que o pedagogo pode exercer fora do ambiente escolar: a área da pedagogia hospitalar, no qual encontra-se dentro da educação especial. Teve como justificativa ampliar o conhecimento e a divulgação da área tratada, contribuindo assim para a formação visando atuação futura. O objetivo geral deste estudo é apresentar as modalidades de atendimento pedagógico existentes em ambientes hospitalares. A metodologia utilizada foi à revisão bibliográfica. Discutimos neste estudo que a função da pedagogia hospitalar é a de fornecer ás crianças e adolescentes hospitalizadas um atendimento adequado, onde elas se sintam bem atendidas e acolhidas, pois o ambiente hospitalar é diferente de sua realidade. Neste contexto, é necessário que haja profissionais preparados e capacitados adequadamente para atuar. A formação adequada desse pedagogo permite com que ele atue de maneira coerente dentro das modalidades existentes no âmbito hospitalar, no qual destacam-se três delas: atendimento no leito, classe hospitalar e brinquedoteca.
